Maritime operations on water evolved to support the natural human sensory system, with eyes being the dominant sensor to interpret the area around us. With the addition of computer vision, the concept of autonomy comes closer to reality.
At this year's International WorkBoat Show, Sea Machines showcased our Computer Vision capabilities for the next level of marine autonomy.
Sea Machines’ sensor for classed vessels, powered by AI, provides advanced situational awareness information to the bridge crew with a comprehensive situational awareness of the ship’s operating domain, including nearby traffic and obstructions.
The sensor collects and on a vessel MFD displays real-time target data for human interpretation including object type, geolocation, and target status. The power of computer vision enables crew efficiency, allowing humans to focus on operational tasks as the system constantly remains alert. Reducing human error and minimizing risk while increasing situational awareness leads to a new level of safety.
Sea Machines. Sea Better.
